These guys offer a transport service and will drag your boat to your vehicle.
Great sites for camping. The staff is a little grumpy and uptight.
We parked here to end our kayaking trip and the staff is wonderful. They have a decent small store and the prices were not higher than you would expect. They even pull your kayak out of the water and to your car.
We were doing a private shuttle to a location further down river that they don't offer a shuttle to. Having used their regular shuttle service in the past, we had planned on just paying a small parking fee to park on their lot, expecting it to be about $10. She tried to charge us $25 just to park, without a shuttle, knowing that she had us by the balls because the public river access was closed due to bridge construction. Mind you, this is December and there were no other paddlers on the river that day or on her lot. We refused and found our own way. We will never use their services again.
Nice grassy primitive campground area. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They have a small store so you can get ice, drinks and snacks. I will definitely stay there and use them again for my next kayak / camping trip.
